KopyKat is a simple Startup Document (INIT) which add a hierarchical menu to the Cut, Copy and Paste menu items in the Edit menu of any application. The hierarchical menu contains three choices each of which represent an individual clipboard which can be used both within an application or across different applications.
The purpose of this INIT is to seamlessly bring the ability to have multiple clipboards (presently three) to all applications.
INSTALLATION:
Simply place the KopyKat INIT in your System Folder and restart the Macintosh. If the INIT was installed properly, you will hear a friendly cat's meow.
USAGE:
KopyKat does not interfere with the normal process of using the Cut, Copy or Paste commands from the menu nor does it effect the usage of the commonly used command key equivalents, Command - 'X', 'C' and 'V'. Currently the only way to make use of KopyKat's feature is from the hierarchical menus off of the Cut, Copy or Paste menu items. You are still allowed to simply choose Cut, Copy or Paste without dragging over to the hierarchical menu if you simply want to do a normal cut, copy or paste.
KopyKat currently does not save the clipboards between sessions. So, if you have restarted your machine, do not expect to still have your three KopyKat clipboards in tact.
WHAT's NEXT:
This software is marked as being of a release less than 1.0 because the author feels that although the process of allowing multiple clipboards is proper, the user interface to access those clipboards is not. Currently, the process of going all the way to the Edit menu and selecting one of the items off of the hierarchical item seems cumbersome. The author has experimented with different key combinations and is still unsettled on how to make the program easier to use. Your suggestions are certainly welcome.

• Persistence of Clipboards between sessions.
• User definable number of clipboards.
• A Quick method of copying to or pasting from one of the multiple clipboards.
